Sailor 1911 Black Luster Video Script

This is the Sailor 1911 Black Luster fountain pen. It comes in a brown box that has a felt material on the outside, has a plastic ends to it. The box is a clam shell style box where the lid opens up.

Included with the pen is a Sailor rag used to clean the pen. We also have a Sailor ink converter, if you want to use fountain pen inks and two ink cartridges. So if you want to use cartridge ink that is included with the pen as well. There is also informational instructions about Sailor and about the pen. And then of course we have the pen itself.

On the inner side of the lid we have the Sailor logo embossed in gold. And the pen is all black, it has black rhodium accents, so it's going to have black resin cap and barrel, and the black rhodium clip, small chrome rhodium band, and then it has… the 1911 has the rounded bullet style ends on both the cap and the barrel of the pen separated by the small black rhodium bands.

Now at the bottom of the cap is a small thin rhodium band with a thicker rhodium band. Printed on that thicker rhodium band is Sailor Japan founded 1911. That's where the name of the pen gets its name Sailor 1911 is because of the year that Sailor was founded.

The pen on the cap... or the cap on the pen unscrews, nice precision threading there, really smooth when you unscrew the cap from the pen. Then the grip section has that black rhodium again with the black rhodium nib. Comes with a 21 karat gold nib, has 1911 engraved with the Sailor anchor logo on it and 21 karat.

This is a cartridge converter style pen, so to change the ink we unscrew that grip section from the barrel of the pen and you would insert either your cartridge or your converter for the pen, whichever you would choose to use. Like I showed you before, those were included with the pen.
