The S.T. Dupont Space Odyssey Premium fountain pen is inspired by the space travel and exploration as depicted in the famous science fiction film: A Space Odyssey. Generally considered one of the most influential films ever made, A Space Odyssey is also known for its pioneering success in accurately depicting scientific ideas, incorporating special effects, and presenting the idea of life on other planets.
As S.T. Dupont's latest limited edition fountain pen, the S.T. Dupont Space Odyssey Limited Edition fountain pen is limited to 2,001 pieces. Every S.T. Dupont pen is designed, polished and assembled by hand in the company's Faverges, France workshops. Each is unique with an individual number engraved on the edge of the clip serving as an identifier.
The S.T. Dupont Space Odyssey Limited Edition fountain pen is made using natural lacquers and palladium trim and components. The lacquered portion of the pen creates a galaxy effect that is most prominent on the pen's cap. Both the cap and the barrel feature engraved rivets to mimic similar components that might be seen on a spacecraft.
Each pen is fitted with an 18 karat gold nib in size medium that provides an exceptional writing experience. The pen uses standard international ink cartridges or fountain pen safe bottled inks (using the included converter).
S.T. Dupont pens are designed, polished and assembled by hand in the S.T. Dupont workshops in Faverges, France. Each pen is unique and identified by an individual number engraved on the edge of the clip.
