About the Platinum 3776 Shiun
The Platinum 3776 Shiun fountain pen becomes the fourth pen in the Fuji Shunkei series. Purple clouds or Shiun in Japanese are believed to be an auspicious sign since ancient times. These clouds appear around Mt. Fuji and have been worshiped for centuries in Japan. This magnificent view had been captured in the Shiun fountain pen.
The body features a diamond pattern raised on the purple resin for a glistening effect. Fitted with a solid 14k gold nib, the pen uses a cartridge converter filling system and is presented in a gift box. Includes Platinum cartridge and ink converter.
Pens are compatible with Platinum ink cartridges and Platinum fountain pen converters for use with bottled inks.

Purchased this on FP Day as an early Christmas present from the hubby. At first, the fine point was a bit scratchy, but as I continue to use it, the writing experience gets increasingly smoother. The pen itself is stunning to behold and is lighter weight than I had expected. I have a bit of trouble at times, placing the cap on the end (it wants to pop off), but the spring mechanism seems to be "learning" to hold better each day. In all, LOVE this pen.

The pen is not inexpensive but it is beautiful and the nib is fantastic!! They did a great job with the molding of the resin.
