The Duo Classic Highlighter fountain pen is a highlighter and a piston fountain pen at the same time! This is clear demonstrator style pen providing access to a view of the piston filler in action. Each Duo Highlighter fountain pen is fitted with a Pelikan branded double broad (BB) stainless steel nib. Decorative trim including both the pen clip and decorative rings are highly polished chrome.

This fountain pen also comes with a matching bottle of highlighter ink that coordinates with the Pelikan Duo Classic Highlighter fountain pen's color.

Pelikan Duo Classic Highlighter Video Script

This is the Pelikan M205 Classic Duo Highlighter Fountain Pen. This pen comes in original yellow and now the green color.

It's called a duo pen because it's a highlighter as well as a fountain pen. Each pen will come with matching highlighter ink. Green with the green pen and yellow ink with the yellow pen.

The pen itself comes with chrome accents to it. Around the ring we have engraved Pelikan and Germany and on the top of the pen we have the Pelikan logo, and of course the classic Pelikan bill clip. You can unscrew the cap and post it by sliding it on.

The nib on this pen is a double broad nib. It's a wider nib, great for highlighting. Engraved on the nib is the Pelikan logo along with Pelikan.

This is a piston style pen so you can fill the pen by unscrewing the end of the pen itself to fill the ink.

Can you buy the ink separately?

I am not sure that I understand the duo part of the pen. Can one write with either black or blue ink and highlight it with same pen without having to change the ink?

The Pelikan Duo Classic Highlighter is called a duo pen because you can both write with the pen or highlight with the pen using the included highlighter ink. The pen comes with a wide nib which allows you to highlight text.

The pen does not allow for two inks at the same time. It is simply a highlighter because of the special highlighter ink and the wide nib. You can use other color inks but using a standard ink such as a blue or a black ink will remove the highlighter feature from the pen. Dark ink would simply black out text.
