Noodlers Triple Tail Reviews
I bought this tripletail after using the Ahab Flex for a few months. It's really nice wet writer. It has a good thick down stroke, but not as thin of a side stroke as I thought. It starts right away. Haven't had any issues with inks. OVERALL I would recommend this to anyone who wants a bit more from the other Noodler's flex pens.

I’m pleasantly surprised how much I’m enjoying this pen. The triple tail comfort learning curve wasn’t difficult, or long. The ink capacity large, because lay down is too. This has been a fun venture, putting in dramatic sheening inks delivers impressive script.

My first Noodlers fountain pen that I purchased.
It is a gift for someone that does not have one.
The pen looks and feels top shelf.
It does have a slight odor to it, nothing bad.

This is a great flex wfitter. Unlike other flex nibs, this isn't as thin, but puts down a nice thick line. At the smallest, feels more like a small stub. Be careful with the silicon grease, it is difficult to get off a transparent pen.

I really enjoy this pen. The nib is unlike any of the others in my collection or that I have used. it is especially nice for invitations or documents where you want an extra flair to your handwriting. One note, the pen is good for tinkerers as you can fully disassemble it. However, I have also found that it can be a bit difficult to clean so learning how to disassemble it becomes necessary, especially if you ever put a glitter ink in it.

Thoroughly enjoying this pen. Writes a little wet, to be be expected given the nib design. Smooth. comfortable larger size and the nib delivers distinctive style to the most mundane writing.

This pen was supposed to be odorless, but mine stunk to high heaven. It was a smell much nastier than the veggie-resin models. I soaked it in water with Dawn dish soap for a few hours which helped but didn't remove all of the stench. Although the nib looked okay under magnification it was rough, so I smoothed it a bit with micro-mesh. I first filled with Robert Oster Caffe Crema which would write but it would continually hard start if it sat for awhile. There was about as much flex as you'd get with a railroad spike, so that was really impressive. I decided to try Noodler's Burgundy instead but couldn't get the ink out of the two piece grip section without taking it all apart. After cleaning and refilling it would write but would suddenly start gushing ink out of the feed. I then gave up and cleaned it out and will never mess with it again. I have an Ahab, Konrad, Neponset and Nib Creeper that all perform nicely with no issues so this is a major disappointment after spending $55 on it. I've seen videos of people getting impressive flex and line variation with these things but my experience was a disaster. I can't in good conscience recommend this piece of garbage to anyone.
