Presenting the Montegrappa David Bowie Blackstar Limited Edition fountain pen, the newest addition to the Montegrappa Icons Series.

The Montegrappa David Bowie: Blackstar Limited Edition fountain pen's ultra-modern design echoes the look of the artist's final studio album with a sparse, futuristic style. The pen's barrel and custom section are carved from black, high-density acrylic, and the pen's cap, trims and pen clip are structured from black ruthenium-plated brass. The diamond and laser-engraved grids, glyphs, and motifs on the pen's surface was created by designer Jonathan Barnbrook. The piston-filling fountain pens are fitted with a 6mm, ruthenium-coated 18K gold nib with a black ebonite feed. Each pen's nib is also embellished with the artist’s lightning-bolt logo.

The Montegrappa David Bowie: Blackstar Limited Edition fountain pen is limited to 401 pieces - also available in rollerball (which is limited to 400 pieces). The edition numbering of this Montegrappa Icon Pen Series release refers to January 8th: David Bowie’s birthday and the release date of his final work.

The pens arrive in deluxe custom packaging that continues the visual theme of the artist's final studio album, with a die-cut star viewing panel. The Montegrappa David Bowie: Blackstar Limited Edition fountain pen packaging is designed for free-standing or wall-mounted display (comes equipped with a recessed mounting bracket). The gift box/display case measures 310mm x 310mm x 50mm.
