Kaweco Supra Fountain Pens

The Kaweco Supra Fountain Pen is a compact pocket style fountain pen with an all brass cap and barrel (EXCEPT the All Black, which is aluminum). The cap on the pen posts to make the length longer for writing, and there is also an additional removable section to extend the pen an extra inch. Use the pen with or without this extension. The pen comes with a stainless steel nib and one Kaweco ink cartridge. The Kaweco Supra fountain pen will accept a Kaweco standard ink converter (when using the extension piece) if you prefer bottled fountain pen inks.

NOTE: The all black Supra fountain pen is made from Aluminum, making it lighter in weight than the brass, steel, or Fireblue versions. The anodized aluminum pen has a brushed look (and was added to the pen collection in August 2023).

Kaweco Supra Video Script

This is the Kaweco Supra fountain pen. It comes in a tin style box with the Kaweco logos on the top of the box lid. Hinge style lid that lifts open. It has a soft velvet bed for the pen. And of course we have the Kaweco Supra fountain pen, rounded, bullet shaped pen. On the top of the cap is the Kaweco logo engraved, and then on the back side Kaweco Germany is engraved on the pen as well. The cap ends here. There's a small section for the pen, it's actually an extension and then the barrel of the pen with threads here at the end of the barrel for posting the cap on the pen.

The cap is threaded and unscrews, it posts on the end of the pen by screwing the end of the barrel on to the pen. It does make a pretty long pen with that cap posted hwoever. Brass section that matches rest the pen with a little bit of threads where the cap threads on. It then comes with a stainless steel nib with the Kaweco logo engraved and the feed on the back side. The section unscrews. Included with the pen is a standard universal ink cartridge. The pen will also take bottled inks. If you would like to add a Kaweco standard converter you can use bottled inks as well.

One of the interesting things about this pen is that little section unscrews, this little extension. Then you can screw the pen back together for a shorter pen. So when it's posted it's shorter without the cap on. You can see how small that is. It will only take a standard universal ink cartridge at this length. It cannot hold the converter, unless you use like squeeze converter, because it is so short.
