This is a cute "novelty" item; meaning that I love that I can put whatever random ink color in this and not remember which one I put when I need to use a new cartridge. I say novelty only because to me that is what I would use it for. I have not had any issue putting new cartridges inside it and it only holds I think 6 or 7. The downside is that unless you put the same exact ink colors inside then you will need to flush out the pen you're using to use a different color. Other than that, I like it.
