The Visconti Van Gogh Flowering Plum Orchard ballpoint pens are inspired by the oil painting in Van Gogh's Japanese series that was created in 1887 from a Hiroshige print called Plum Garden in Kameido. Van Gogh accurately reproduced the composition with more intense colors replacing the black and grey of Hiroshige's tree trunk with red and blue tones. The additional two orange borders with Japanese characters he added provided a decorative, exotic effect.

The Visconti Van Gogh Flowering Plum Orchard ballpoint pen is a beautiful acrylic resin with Vermeil trim (yellow gold) that adds light to the red, green, and brown acrylic resin. Each Visconti Van Gogh Flowering Plum Orchard ballpoint pen is paired with a bookmark showing the Van Gogh painting, and is beautifully packaged in a custom gift box.
