Each fountain pen features a Jonathan Brooks' industry-famous hand-mixed resin and is limited to 388 pieces worldwide.
Each Visconti Homo Sapiens Earth Origins fountain pen features Visconti's double-reservoir power filler, an easy-to-use vacuum filling system patented in 1998 that is arguably the most advanced ink filling system in the history of fountain pens. With the double-reservoir power filler, you can fill the pen with the equivalent of 10 standard ink cartridges and prevent ink from leaking during air travel (thanks to the two-reservoir mechanism). Visconti's Homo Sapiens Earth Origins fountain pens are fitted with Visconti's 18kt gold in-house fountain pen nib (handcrafted in Florence, Italy). And finally, the Visconti Homo Sapiens Earth Origins also benefits from Visconti's innovative design prowess with the revolutionary cap closing system called the Hook Safe Lock that locks the pen body into the pen's cap to prevent the possibility of accidentally uncapping your pen inside a pocket, bag, etc.
