I was tempted to buy RO because of the color--it wasn't anything like samples I've seen--it's a rather dull beige pink. Plus the sparkles clog my TWSBI pen which is pretty hard to do as it's a stub! RO bottles are too tipsy, flimsy (I knew that) but I thought the color would be worth it. It wasn't. I needed another bottle to pour it into (glass and sturdy). Not worth the money!

This is a beautiful gold ink. It does require pretty frequent rolling of your pen to ensure the shimmer stays suspended, but it looks like liquid gold on paper, so it's worth it. The ink without the shimmer is a beautiful color, too.

I haven't met a Robert Oster ink that I haven't liked. Silver Fire and Ice is beautiful and we'll behaved. Blue Velvet Storm has a verdigris hue with a beautiful shimmer that reminds me of labradorite.

This is beautiful ink! I'm surprised on even poor paper, though to lessor degree, him much shimmering quality it has!

The shimmer line of Robert Oster inks is definitely a must-have for anyone who likes to write with a little pizazz. They rarely clog and offer fantastic dimension to even the plainest writing. A little pricey but the quality more than makes up for the hefty price tag.

I bought "heart of gold" & "black n blue" shimmer inks. Great color & flow, the shimmer is a bit intense, but that's what I paid for right? Overall, would recommend.
