The color is remarkably close to laying down small strands of gold that glisten with every stroke. The amount of shimmer won't let you forget it's gold ink.

I was tempted to buy RO because of the color--it wasn't anything like samples I've seen--it's a rather dull beige pink. Plus the sparkles clog my TWSBI pen which is pretty hard to do as it's a stub! RO bottles are too tipsy, flimsy (I knew that) but I thought the color would be worth it. It wasn't. I needed another bottle to pour it into (glass and sturdy). Not worth the money!

This is a beautiful gold ink. It does require pretty frequent rolling of your pen to ensure the shimmer stays suspended, but it looks like liquid gold on paper, so it's worth it. The ink without the shimmer is a beautiful color, too.

I haven't met a Robert Oster ink that I haven't liked. Silver Fire and Ice is beautiful and we'll behaved. Blue Velvet Storm has a verdigris hue with a beautiful shimmer that reminds me of labradorite.

True light pink but readable. Shimmer silvered that is consistent so I don't need to shake my Noodler's Neponset while I write. Also great in Pilot Parallels.

This is beautiful ink! I'm surprised on even poor paper, though to lessor degree, him much shimmering quality it has!
