Customer Reviews
SO FAR, I LOVE ALL OF MY ROBERT OSTER INKS, AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. I DO WISH THE NECK OF THE BOTTLE WERE A BIT BIGGER. AT THAT COST, I THINK THEY SHOULD THINK ABOUT OFFERING SOME GLASS BOTTLES FOR THE SPECIAL INKS. A great Color, good shading, and not too dry!

Palo Verde Green is a great, light leafy green color. It's wet, shades a lot and performs well. Bigger nibs will do this color more justice.

Robert Oster inks are fantastic. They have a great portfolio of colors and the ink is consistent. I use it in fountain pens and also refill my rollerball cartridges. No better way to make a rollerball a bit more fun!

Top notch product! Not only is your sample bigger than what I am accustomed to receiving, but you also put a label on the cap with a color swatch! Fabulous!

I love the 4ml ink samples that Pen Chalet has. So much better than getting only 2ml that other shops sell. With 4ml you get enough ink to really try it out for a while and if you like it you get about 3 converter fills to enjoy. I like trying different inks so I rarely buy a full bottle but this size is perfect for me. Always happy with Robert Oster inks.

This is a lovely ink with a bronze undertone and gold sparkle. I shared some with a fellow fountain pen lover and she is equally impressed.

I went through & had to buy various colors of greens for a couple of green pens I have. The exclusive Robert Oster Segura Green is a favorite in several of my green machine writers.

This is the first Rob't Oster ink I've tried and I love it! Australian Sky Blue is a bright, vibrant, and saturated cerulean blue ink that is unlike any other blue ink I have (I usually lean toward the darker blues/teals). Though no special properties, this has real impact on the page, seems to flow well, and is over-all very well behaved even on some not-so-great paper. I am currently using it in a Conklin Coronet with a Fine nib.

I received this a free gift when I bought another bottle and was not sure about the color but what a surprise! It is the most beautiful orangey-gold. Perfect for fall! It was my first time trying Robert Oster signature ink. I will be ordering more of this brand of ink!

I love this color! The sheen came across beautifully on my Yamamoto Glassine paper using a 1.1mm Italic Stub nib. You can really see the shimmer nicely and the red is a nice deep red, but not as dark as say a maroon or cordovan.

This is my first shimmering ink and I LOVE it! When I first inked it up in my Lamy Vista Broad I just thought it was a nice pinky-mauve. Then it dried and I could see the sheen/shimmer in the ink. I am now going to start using more of these inks. I would like to see more sheen when I hold the paper at an angle, but since I have never used this type of ink before I do not know if the subtle sheen is normal.

I used this ink in my Caran d'Ache 849M pen. The ink itself is gorgeous but I am not sure if the ink is too "wet" or "thin" for the nib as I would get a tear drop of ink about every 3rd line of writing. It leaked only in this pen and not any of my others - Diplomat Magnum and Sheaffer. However, this is a small issue since it does not do this with others. So I do not mind and it does not take away form the color which is a nice medium-dark mauve. I would order it again in the sample size.

I really like both “Muddy Bucket” and “Muddy Swamp”. They appear watery but dry darker. I find the first similar to Iroshizuku Ina-Ho but a touch brighter and the second silmilar to DiaminePrussian Blue. Great inks!

I like the mult-colors of this series of inks.
Each has mult-colors in itself.
These bottles of ink meet the same grand quality one expects from Robert Oster.

Perfect ink. Easily shot it’s way up to my favorite ink. Not too wet, not too dry. Beautiful green color inspired by the Saguaro cactus, couldn’t ask for a better ink.

Great ink. What I like about it is the quick drying time and the lack of feathering and bleed through -even on cheap copy paper. Outperforms many more expensive brands. The only downside? There are too many colors to choose from!
