I love this pen. Out of all the Twsbi fountain pens I own this by far is my favorite in every category! Twsbi makes great pens, I have every style except the Mini and love them all but this is the one is the One that is my personal Best! Appearance, Feel, Writing Experience, Comfort, Performance, Ink Capacity, Price Ect. Could not be happier with this pen, it checks every box and gets top scores! I just purchased my 3rd Twsbi 580 ALR today from Pen Chalet. Can't wait till it arrives!!

I got the Punch Pink version and it is a beautiful pen and the stub nib writes so smooth, love it, if you are on the fence, take a chance! Also it says it doesn't post but I prefer my pens posted and if you place the cap on it will stay on easily as you write.

This pen follows in the path of several other TWSBI pens I have written with and collected. That path is joy of usage and ownership of a fine writing instrument that will be with me as long as I’m able to write. I can’t say enough praise for such a simple object that is a pleasure to use. Did I mention that it’s Blue! - can”t get any better than that.

Great Pen writes very well no problems of any kind. I even found a great matching ink color: private reserve blue suede.

I finally bought one of these in Prussian Blue after reading many positive reviews. The Prussiab Blue colour looks good and the finish overall is excellent. I'm stilll deciding if I like the textured section. It does make for a secure grip but I'm used to shiny sections on Lamy pens. In terms of price this is an absolute bargain.

The quality of the material is great, I love the pen with or without ink. The material feels sturdy and the stub nib is soft. The only issue is that you MUST watch videos on how to disassemble and reassemble the pen, because the manual does not say how to place the screw. I had an issue with this as I reassembled my pen in the wrong way the first time, had to force it to open it, and because the end knob is made of plastic and the part of the pen where it fits is of metal it got loose, so I had to buy one new from TWSBI, which solved the problem for me fast and through email. All and all, it is a great pen, for great value and Penchalet has the best discounts of all the stores in the US.
