I purchased a Falcon fountain pen with XF nib. This is an excellent pen in all respects. The nib has a great feel and writes with clean precision. I find the nib flex, while not identical to a dip pen, say, with a G nib, to produce sufficient line variation to write in a copperplate style. The result achieved will in my opinion vary with the skill of the writer, and less so by any limitation of this unique writing instrument. The pen is lightweight and well balanced. I will use this pen for letter writing and calligraphy, and am very pleased with the purchase.

Comfortable to hold, smooth writing, and a great pen for sketching. I own two, a red one and a black, both fine point. I use a red ink in one and brown in the other so I can easily switch between them.

I got my Pilot Falcon in Soft Fine and with Rhodium Trim. I really enjoyed writing with it! It is very precise and has a little flexibility in the nib - a joy to use. Craftsmanship is excellent as expected and a great value.

First fountain pen that I have had in years, and I couldn't be happier. I use it for art work, and like it so much that I just ordered an additional one in a different color to hold a different color ink. Both pens are Namiki Falcon sf, one black and now coming shortly a red one. I like the weight, length, and it's smooth drawing ability.

I couldn't be happier with my Namiki Falcon! Although the weight of the pen is a bit on the light side, the magic lives in its beak-like nib. Inked-up with my favorite Pilot Iroshizuku ink, the Falcon is a nearly perfect writer. As a bonus, my pen cane branded "Namiki," which was nice. Customer service was great!

Got a great pen for a good price! The packaging and shipping was very fast to Canada.. If there is a "fault" here, I would say that my Falcon is a little bit too light in hand. I was really hoping for something with a little more heft... It is a wonderful wet writer, with no skips, and no problem starting.

This pen is really outstanding! I wasn't sure which one i purchased (the old Namiki model or the new Pilot model) It's actually the new Pilot and it's absolutely amazing. The nib is very reactive, though, hard to manage at first. A little scratchy (SF nib) as I started using it as all my other foutain pens. After a few days, my first impressions changed as I understood how to use the (special shape of the)nib and all the possibilities it gave me!
Enough softness to get beautiful line variation, about 1.2mm wide (i didn't try more to not spring the tines...), no railroading.
Just be aware that it's not a full flex nib; so don't over push your nib unless you want to ruin it.
A-MA-ZING pen!!! Try it, you won't regret it!

After reading so many reviews and saving up for the, Namiki/Pilot Falcon, I was a little disappointed with it.
The quality and feel of the pen is great. Exactly what one would expect of a, 'Pilot' brand pen.
However, I bought this for flex, which it really doesn't seem to have.
My, Noodler's Ink 'Ahab', which is my EDC, provides greater flex than the, 'Falcon'. Both pens have not been adjusted or worked by a nib-meister. Understandably, it seems if the 'Falcon' was attended to by a nib-meister, it would be great, but one would expect that a pen of this calibre would be great out-of-the-box.
The fine-line is great, just the available line variation is disappointing.
If you are able to have access to / afford a nib-meister to customise this pen, I am sure it would be a joy to use. Just don't expect a 'vanilla' pen to be as enjoyable.
With respect to the service and product packing offered by, PenChalet, it is excellent. Thanks PenChalet.
