This is a wonderful pen. I’ve owned this pen in violet for two years now. I haven’t had any problems with the pen. The fine nib is a bit finer than a western fine. The nib is extremely soft and wet on Rhodia paper, my favorite paper. The Con-70 holds a good amount of ink as well. I’d recommend this pen to anyone as it’s a steal at less than $150!

The pen has a nice nib. I bought the medium, so that's my experience. It's very smooth. The nib has a touch of springiness. The pen has good flow, and it starts up well after sitting idle. The ink capacity is favorable compared to some of my other pens. I use Pilot ink in it with good results, but I haven't used any other inks, so be advised. I've used the pen to draft a book, so the Custom 74 has proven itself as a daily writer. It's light and comfortable for me to hold. There's a piece of sliding black plastic that helps pool the ink toward the nib. I like that because it means I don't have to adjust the converter to get flow. I'm pretty happy with my choice.

Excellent pen! Its an ideal size for my hand and feels comfortable to use. The pen is currently filled with Pilot Iroshizuku tsuki-yo ink and the pen seems to glide across the paper of my Rhodia journal.
