A really nice pen. I like the design and the fell of this pen. It's a lighter pen than I normally use but it feels comfortable in the hand. It post securely and remains balanced. The best feature of this pen is it's smooth writing somewhat springy JoWo steel nib.

I just received my Diplomat fountain pen. I like the outer texture; it has a “matte finish” that is easy to grip. Everything seems fine, especially for an economy pen.
My only disappointment is the nib. I ordered a Fine Point, and everything from the shipping label to the tags on the case the pen came in, all say “FP”, but this is the WIDEST fine point I have ever received from any source. It is easily wider than most “Medium” nibs I have. So, I guess pens are like clothes and everyone’s definition of “fine” point is arbitrary at best.
It is a nice pen, especially for the money. Just wish it wasn’t as broad...

I purchased this pen as a potential replacement for a Waterman of much higher price I owned that recently got "lost". I wasn't expecting the ease of writing, the flow, to be the same. I'm very impressed. The value far exceeded the cost.
