Diplomat Magnum Fountain Pens Reviews
-My favorite features: the tri-grip is slimmer than most, and it takes international cartridges.
-The nib writes reliably but with a fair amount of feedback. And it doesn't dry out if I ignore it for a week.
-I like the lightness of its plastic body but the cap is so heavy that I don't post it.
-The Magnum is a good value at the clearance price. Because of the cap weight and nib feedback, I think I'd have been disappointed with it at full price.

I bought 30 pens to give away. The pens are great; however, I expected them to have ink converters. Oh, well...life goes on!

This pen is my second Diplomat, and it writes smoothly, and the price was great.

For a Jowo nib I was expecting a super smooth experience like what my Edison Collier gives but instead I got a pencil. Line width for Fine is nice, body seems solidly made with thick plastic. It came with two short refills but one was empty which made me feel like the company is cheap. Wish it came with a converter. I like the textured body. Small pen too.

I got a F but it's not so fine. Wouldn't get again. I have to stick with Japanese brands I guess

Nice everyday writer; lightweight and easy to carry. A good value; comparable to other plastic body pens like the Lamy Safari.
However, it was slow to accept ink and write. After it would not write after having had a cartridge in it for a day with the pen stood poin down, I soaked the nip overnight in tap water and that cleared up the problem.

This is truly an entry level pen, however for the price, it is on the higher end of entry. I am not impressed with the nib on this pen. It is scratchy, dry, the feed does not keep up with even moderate writing. I love the look and feel of the pen. Diplomat has great design sense. But the nib is garbage, and therefore not worth the money. I will attempt to smooth and align the nib a bit before completely getting rid of this one. I was hoping for a better out of the box experience.
