The replacement nib works perfectly - and writes better than the original. Most importantly, I hadn't seen this particular mechanism before, and Pen Chalet was more than gracious (and patient!) in troubleshooting and walking me through it.

MV EF nibs are great! I was worried from my past experience they would be like conklin nibs i've returned in the past, but it writes flawlessly first time everytime & it's black to match my MV Ritma Black/Turquoise. I'm very satisfied with my purchase! God bless (Matthew 5:45)!

Bought the replacement nibs (a stub and a medium), because sadly, the nib that had come with my purchase (elsewhere) had issues that made it very difficult to use. On first use of the stub, I was more than pleasantly surprised at how well it worked, no hard starts. I love it.

Great nib, I really like extra fine for some of the things I do and this is a great nib. It flows nicely and if I use it once a day - which I do - it doesn't dry out. I love my Monteverdes.

This Omniflex was great right out of the box, though it's a little stiff to flex. Penchalet's vendor sent the wrong nib the first time, but Penchalet immediately made it right. That means a great deal to me in a vendor. I won't hesitate to use them again.
