Conklin Replacement Fountain Pen Nibs Reviews

this nib was to replace an Omniflex nib on my Conklin, which had ann erratic ink feel. This nib/feed ompletely solved the problem.

This nibs writes smoothly across the pages with very little/ no feedback. The pen just glides across the PAPER effortlessly.not expected considering most EF nibs have feedback due to how little surface on the nib is in contract with the paper. Nice nib replacement if you don't like the omniflex nib on your Conklin pens

I am the proud owner of way too many Conklin Duragraphs, all equipped with a Omniflex nibs. Obviously, I love the Omniflexes, but some of them (the line widths do vary within the same stated size) are a little too broad for me. When I saw this Fine Duragraph nib, I just had to try it out. I am delighted with this nib! I thought that it would be a trade off, and I would necessarily have to give up some of the flex capabilities, but at least I would have the size nib that I prefer. I discovered that this nib, while not advertised as such, has a decent amount of flex, not as much as the Omniflex, but the thinness of the nib allows me to flex it enough to have line variation.

Pen Chalet is a great company to do business with; I am especially appreciative of the free shipping (I easily reach the minimum since there are so many awesome items offered), the speed at which my packages get here, and the frequent sales. I also am a sucker for those limited edition pens made only for Pen Chalet, and nothing I have ever bought here disappoints. In fact, the pens, in person, are always a happy surprise. Without fail, the items are always better than they appear on the website.

I bought this item as a replacement nib for the limited edition, all-black Conklin Duragraph Omniflex nib which I found lacking after several attempts to use it. This item looks great and performs as expected. The price is exactly right and the nib works like you would expect it to.

I purchased a Conklin EF nib/feed. I was not sure how to remove the nib from the feed;as it turns out
I was reticent about pulling too hard on the nib. I called customer service and the rep walked me through the process. I then installed the nib on the feed of my modern Conklin Crescent. Everything OK. The nib is a smooth writing EF. Thanks

After adjusting the tines the nib writes very well with sufficient ink flow and the right amount of smoothness.

Excellent replacement for flex nib that was not satisfactory. Converted a nice looking pen

This was an excellent replacement for the nib on one of my Conklin Duragraph pens.
The nib writes better than the original.

The replacement nib writes slightly better than the nib that came on my Conklin Durogrph, but not much. The replacement nib skips and isn't consistent in the amount of ink it lays down. Disappointed in the Conklin experience overall.

I have had problems with Conklin nibs in the past, but this stub nib has been pleasant to use. I would like it more if it were a bit crisper italic/stub nib, but it writes smoothly and give nice line variation. You can even flex the tines a bit on the down stroke to get a slightly heavier line weight than with no pressure.
