Nothing to complain about very particular. The nib is properly aligned, the flow is pretty good. The whole starts without flinching. This kind of nib without problem is relaxing. Too maybe for my taste. It lacks a bit of character like almost all the feathers on the market. A good purchase in summary for a nib that we can consider using every day whatever paper is used. What more can you ask for?

The nib looks good under the loupe; but, I have not inked it yet

I have a handful of stubs in my collection and this is one of the best stubs I own. It is by far the smoothest and most pleasant to write with. I use it in my Conklin Cresent filled pen and it writes beautifully.

Great replacement nib. I got a Duragraph with the medium nib because I was told the medium runs pretty fine, but after using it I decided that I would prefer a fine nib. This did the job. It's a beautifully smooth fine nib and it came very quickly

Thank you! I've had a finicky Conklin Duragraph for about a year and a half now. From flow issues, to eventual leaking, I just could not solve its issues. Then I noticed there was a small crack at the tip of the nib assembly (where the cartridge/converter goes) and so, as a last resort (because what else could it be?) I ordered the replacement nib assembly. As this is a forest green pen, I thought a black nib would look really nice on it and kind of change things up. Just got the unit in today and so far it seems like the leaking issues have been fixed, but on top of that, this is a NICE writing nib! Perfectly tuned, I didn't have to do any adjustments, and it writes incredibly smooth! This is just what I needed, so thank you!

These nibs are excellent performers - wet and quite smooth. No effort required to glide along the surface of the paper. However, at least for the Duragraph, one can get the entire pen if it is on special for just a few more USD than the nib.
