This is a very smooth and lovely ink. It works well with most of my nibs (but you can really see the color if you use a fine tip nib) the dark chocolate color is a keeper

I am a fan of all the inks I have ordered in this line thus far. In fact, I'd consider it one of my favorites for sure. The colors seem pure and true to their name. The coverage and saturation can't be beat. I like the dry time...no smearing, etc.

Well-behaved ink in tons of colors. You’ll find some lovely matte colors with good shading and some inks with a good amount of sheen, too. Every ink I’ve tried has been great in terms of quality and performance. If you want work-friendly colors, try Evening Sapphire and Eucalyptus Leaf - they’re staples in my lineup. Just unique enough to be interesting, just standard enough not to seem unprofessional.

Who knew! I'm a fan of R.Oster inks and decided to try the Red Orange. Really dig this ink. It goes down as a deep orange and then slightly darkens like you'd expect with an IG ink. If used with good paper and wet nib you'll see really fun edging and shading which goes into a deep burgundy red almost. The color pallet is really pleasing on pure white paper (Rhodia). Deep and rich, not bright and shocking. Like it enough that I loaded it up into my TWSBI 580 Orange. It's a mature color that is working well in a business setting, allowing for something besides blue & black.

This review is for the cherry blossom ink color. It is one of my favorite ink colors from Robert Oster. It may be seen as a pale color. It has nice shading too.
