It’s important to shake the bottle otherwise you won’t see the beauty in the color. It is a bit more on the turquoise side of blue to me. This color looks so much better on white Tomoe River than on cream Clairefontaine in my opinion.

I have 4 different bottles of this brand of ink (Soda Pop Blue, Sublime, Fire & Ice, and Hippo Purple), and many different samples. I really love this brand. The ink works well in all of my pens that I've tried them in. I haven't had any issues with dryness or clogging. They are very pretty and consistently write well on every paper I have tried.

Absolutely in love with this ink, I got Soda Pop Blue and the color is beautiful with a blu-ish green (leaning more blue) with a subtle sheen. Takes a bit of time for it to dry it it run pretty nicely between my G-nib dipping pen and my fine nib vintage pen.
