Noodlers Bottled(3oz) Fountain Pen Ink Reviews
Awesome color, unable to find a paper that it wouldn’t bleed. This was my first fountain pen ink. I’m going to try another brand. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

My husband is an artist so his ink - and its permanence - is very important to him. This Noodlers Ink went to his pilot fountain pen. Lovely color. It is perfect for his needs.

Noodler's inks are a love-hate kind of ink since their unique properties don't always mesh well with expectations, but I can say the following:
I have more Noodler's inks in my collection than any other brand. As all of them are ultra-saturated, you can dilute them about 20-30% with clean water (I use distilled) to thin out the mix and improve the shading. If your ink is a bulletproof ink that has that "smell", then this also helps to cut down on that. Feathering and bleeding through paper, along with 0 shading, is often a function of the excessive amount of dyestuff used in the inks, so dilution definitely helps out.
Diluted, I prefer Noodler's inks to almost any other and I keep large stocks of Blue Black, Zhivago, Red Black and Bulletproof Black (and Roller Eel Black) on hand. The fact that I can get these inks overseas is a relief and a testament to the intrepid PenChalet owners!

Ink love at first Sight:
I inked up a 80’s Sheaffer (M) with a Burgundy barrel with this ink
My first sight of this ink is pure delight-A Red that borders on maroon without any blue tone- its really hard to describe. Its bold without being brash.
So glad I took the chance and tried it out!

Really pleased with Noodlers Inks! I got the Black Swan in Australian Roses, which a beautiful burgundy with a pinkish tone. I was not sure which color would be the best burgundy when I looked online, so I am really excited that it was exactly the color I was hoping for. Zhivago is also a lovely color, a slightly muted pine green. I've tried them on many papers in several fountain pens, and I've not had any issues with bleeding or flow--overall, great inks!

Burma Road Brown is a wonderful ink. To me, there's more green than the name would suggest, but I love the color. I've been using it with a Monteverde Monza fine point, and it performs well even on cheap note pad paper -- no bleed through. I've always had a good experience with Noodlers inks, and this is no exception.

A fantastic darker brown! It does feather a bit on the worst paper, and there isn't a ton of shading, but if you're looking for a beautifully classic brown, you'll love this ink!
