My comments are more about service. I ordered four bottles of ink only to have the order arrive damaged. One of the bottles broke. I sent feedback about protecting shipments but no asks or demands. Immediately a full shipment of replacement inks were sent. The second order was packed differently and arrived in perfect shape. Above and beyond the call. Excellent service, prompt shipping. As a result I followed up and ordered another fountain pen. Thank you team.

Love this ink, like other Noodler's inks it inks up and writes very well. I have it in several pens, gold and stainless, both write excellent. Personally, I love the color.

The jury is still out on this one. I haven't been writing wit it long enough to give a fair voice. I use it in a Lamy Al Star. It is rather odd behaving. It could be my pen. I love the smell of this ink though.

I needed a "document" type ink for work, so I read all the reviews and settled on 54th Mass. for my first black/blue-black ink. With no other blue-black inks to compare it with, I haven't developed the warm-fuzzies over the 54th Mass. quite yet. This ink shades on the blue side given the paper I've tried it on including Rhodia. All in all, it plays better for me in broader nibs and smoother paper: delightfully wet and smooth in a TWSBI 580AL medium, very slightly less so in a Pelikan M200 medium and much drier in the Aurora Ipsilon fine nib. Lays down a very nice line on Office Depot 24# premium laser paper without feathering or bleed through, and dries quickly too. However, I do observe slight ghosting on my laser check paper.
One thing for sure, you get your monies worth of ink from Noodlers. It was filled to the brim. I do like this ink, but it is to early to tell how this ink will fare compared to other blue-blacks I have inbound ... win, place or show?

I love the color of Noodlers Bad Blue Kingfisher, the only problem is that some of my pens don't enjoy it as much as I do. Overall a lovely color and a great value!
