I only recently learned of Pen Chalet as a result of searching on line for purple fountain pen inks. Let's just say that I have a thing for purple and have been looking for the ideal purple for a long time. Most purple inks I've sampled have leaned either too much towards the burgundy/wine spectrum, towards the blue spectrum, or were either too dark (almost black) or too light (washed out looking). I decided to try a bottle of Monteverde's Purple Mist from Pen Chalet, and it's perfect; just what I've been looking for. But more than that, what really impressed me was Pen Chalet's professionalism in answering my questions and its incredible service. My order was processed and shipped the very next day after I placed my order, and it arrived in the mail two days after that. Pen Chalet offers an enormously satisfying shopping experience and it's a company that obviously places a high value on customer service.

Love Monteverde inks and this Capri Blue is no exception. Has a bit more turquoise look then pure blue. Feel the ink flows beautifully and do use it in better pens with no worries.

Absolutely beautiful. It seems to dry extremely quick on the nib and even after immediately uncapping the pen, a Lamy Al Star, it has a bit of a difficult time starting, but as long as you are writing it is flowing and extremely smooth at that.
