Diamine's "Scribble Purple" is a truly dark purple-- almost black, just like the picture shows. The ink flows well from a medium nib, but dry time is a little longer. It may work better in a fine nib.

This might be my favorite blue ink so far! I love a blue which leans a little purple, but is still blue. This is a perfect ink for so many sized nibs. Not too dark to really see the color in a broader nib, not too light to be very legible with a fine nib. Just gorgeous. This ink flows beautifully and isn’t too bright for a more conventional work setting, but still has some flair. Perfection.

I have the Diamine Syrah and Oxblood. Both inks perform quite well on most papers, they behave very well in my vintage pens and modern pens equally. Just great ink that works!
