Overall, I find Diamine 30 mL bottles to be convenient in terms of amount and value, but the bottles are just not ideal to refill a pen. The opening is tiny and I am always worried they will fall while open because they are very lightweight.
Regarding the actual Oxblood color, it's okay. It's not my cup of tea and I do use it, but I prefer others.

I love this color. It's a unique shade of red with orange undertones that somewhat resembles dry blood. It's not at all alarming on the page and is suitable for professional work. It's not water resistant at all however.

Ancient copper is a beautifully indescribable shade of orange/red/brown w/copper sheen (appropriate!) in the right nib. Great value, easy flowing, "unbreakable" plastic bottle, Diamine always seems to do a great job w/all their inks.

Diamine Writer's Blood- Terrific color and name. The color is dark enough to be considered formal or professional like blue or black. Yet it is a beautiful color. Nice flow of ink as well. Wish the price were lower though as in UK they cost less than half of US.
