I love this color. It's a unique shade of red with orange undertones that somewhat resembles dry blood. It's not at all alarming on the page and is suitable for professional work. It's not water resistant at all however.

Ancient copper is a beautifully indescribable shade of orange/red/brown w/copper sheen (appropriate!) in the right nib. Great value, easy flowing, "unbreakable" plastic bottle, Diamine always seems to do a great job w/all their inks.

Diamine Writer's Blood- Terrific color and name. The color is dark enough to be considered formal or professional like blue or black. Yet it is a beautiful color. Nice flow of ink as well. Wish the price were lower though as in UK they cost less than half of US.

Diamine's "Scribble Purple" is a truly dark purple-- almost black, just like the picture shows. The ink flows well from a medium nib, but dry time is a little longer. It may work better in a fine nib.

This might be my favorite blue ink so far! I love a blue which leans a little purple, but is still blue. This is a perfect ink for so many sized nibs. Not too dark to really see the color in a broader nib, not too light to be very legible with a fine nib. Just gorgeous. This ink flows beautifully and isn’t too bright for a more conventional work setting, but still has some flair. Perfection.
