Diamine has been making fountain pen inks for over 150 years since 1864. Diamine has been successful creating inks using traditional formulas and methods in their production.
They relocated to Liverpool England in 1925 but has since been sold and is now located near the Aintree race course. Diamine continues to create the finest quality fountain pen inks, calligraphy inks and stamp pads.
Diamine inks have been used by many notable persons including his Serene Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco and the Grimaldi family as a limited edition fountain pen and Presidents Obama and Medvedev who signed the nuclear arms treaty at Prague Castel. Also the special edition ink W.E.S Imperial Blue was introduced as a request for the 25th Anniversary for the Writing Equipment Society.

Polar Glow is a great blue with HIGH red sheen. It really does look like is is glowing on the page. I have it in a Pilot Custom 742 with a flex nib and it looks amazing on the page.

I picked up the “Ghost” ink as I love greys. This comes off as a medium graphite grey with the slightest hint of lavender. Best in a broader nib to show it off. Flow and drying are great!

I went back and forth about ordering this but finally gave in and bought it. I started opening the doors on August 1, one each day like a proper Advent calendar. I am glad I bought it and it made me happy I preordered the 2024 version.

I like the very stylish Diamine bottles. They provide a wide variety of colors in fountain pen ink, and the bottles are not prone to tip over, which is a plus.

This was my first Inkvent Calendar and now I am hooked. Fun to anticipate opening a new ink each day, fun to try some colors and formulations I might otherwise never try, and especially fun to find one or two that become instant favorites. I bought a full bottle of the Deck the Halls as soon as it came out. I went back to see what colors existed from the Red and Blue calendars, and found a few others that I had to nab at full size. A few are too light to use, or too PINK (I never use pink), or are scented (often triggers my asthma). With that said, this is still a very worthwhile product and I'll be looking for the Inkvent Calendar each year.

First of all I love the bottle. The little feet, the glass, and its so unique! I love the purple color. Purple is such a difficult color to get right, but Diamine's red edition is very nice. I have lots of other Diamine purple inks as well like, Imperial purple and Lavender.

Finally a purple ink that could become my favorite color. It just speaks a different language to me. Whether in a zoom nib, broad nib, even a stub nib, this ink just shines in its own right. It's wet. It doesn't clog. Absolutely love it.

I'm a fan of this brand overall, and this is an excellent color. It shades nicely with nibs from medium and wider. Darker than a spring green, but lighter and with more variation than the olivine. Performs consistently.

The blue of this ink is a true medium blue and lovely on an ecru color paper. It does not clog my pens including my EF nibs. I would order these again.

I got three colors (Vintage Copper, Stargazer, and Garland) and I really enjoy all of them so far. They do sometimes clog up in my fountain pens but not to the point where rinsing the pen couldn’t fix it. I would definitely put them either in a wetter pen or a pen with a larger nib size. They were packaged very safely and arrived in perfect condition.

Green/Black is a great alternative to the standard conservative, business type inks. One can use this to replace Black, Blue as well as Blue/Black. The green is noticeable only upon close inspection and can be used for any purpose. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Red Dragon is my go-to correction ink. It is a nice red, goes down on the page nicely, dries pretty fast, and works wonderfully in any pen I throw at it. It works so well I have coworkers who are now coming to me occasionally saying, “please sir I want some more.”

I was hesitant about a shimmering ink, from all I've heard about them, but I really like this one. No clogged nib, and the color is rich. Diamine puts out a quality product, and I look forward to using this ink more.

Terra cotta is a beautiful orange, brown rust colored ink. It is a perfect match with the LAMY Terracotta studio fountain pen. It also matches my Esterbrook Honeycomb pen. The color of the ink is the perfect shade without being too dark or too light. The ink shows well with a little feathering even on poor quality paper, but shows up smooth and precise on Clairefontaine, and Rhodia paper. Very nice! I started with a sample, but a full bottle is in my future!
