Bought this as a gift for my nephew (whom I enticing down the fountain pen/ink rabbit hole). He loved it and is looking forward to using it when he returns to classes.

Shimmering(50ml)
I've only tried the Firefly. I make sure to gently roll the pen in my fingers to agitate the shimmer. It's really a beautiful effect and with a broad nib, it writes wonderfully.

150th Anniversary
I got the Dark Forest and Burgundy Royale. First off, very well behaved inks. No learning curve. They worked perfectly in a EF all the way to a Broad. Both have a slight sheen which is nice for visual interest. Also both inks I got have a color shift that at times is very faint and others will catch your eye. :) This I have heard makes reading my letters very enjoyable for the receiving party. I will say that if you are looking for a deep rich red, maybe take a look at their other inks. It is a very good representation of Burgundy. Dark Forest, a green so dark that it looks black, until it's green. Yes, I like both.

Bottled Ink(30ml)
I got 2 different ones. Grey and Steel Blue. The Steel Blue is a good ink. Has some color shift and some sheen. Not as much as say Organic Studios but it's still there to a point where it's a visually interesting ink. The Grey... I'm not feeling it. I'm not. I've used other Diamine inks and they have all been really solid performers but the Grey... It seems to be a "dry" ink, and it increases the feedback to a point where it's almost as if the pen nib is scratching the paper. Maybe I need to try it again in a M or stub nib pen and see. No, I used a known good pen to test with a F/M sized nib. One that usually is very behaved no matter which ink I use in it. So this is a split review. Generally speaking, Diamine has good inks. The grey... eh, in my opinion, not so much.

Shimmering(50ml)
Can somebody post something about how they are using these inks in a fountain pen? Please? The colors are just gorgeous, the shimmer.. Yeah, makes me cockles twitter a bit. However, I've tried several in my pens (M nib) and the beginning is wonderful, but by the time I get to the end of the ink in the converter (with agitators) the shimmer is either gone or very very little. Still great inks! I'm cool with using a dip pen to get that shimmer.

Got various colors of Diamine ink in. So far all have been top drawer with minimal feathering on very cheap papers.

Bottled Ink(80ml)
I bought the 80 ml bottles of Grey and Pumpkin. The grey is my first grey ever. Didn't like it at first but it's growing on me slowly and surely. I've filled it in a fine nibbed pen and will progress to a medium nibbed one soon. Beginning to like it on fine and I think it'll look good with the medium too. Pumpkin on the other hand is just plain brilliant!! Very bright color, in-your-face. Have this in a medium nibbed pen but want to see it in a fine nibbed one. both have excellent flow and dry quickly enough for my use. Not much shading that I noticed in either ink. I suspect the grey does shade a bit but I cant make out for sure with the fine nib I'm using right now.

I went through a lot of issues trying to get the shipment outside the US and Ron was there all the while sorting out the problems and I'm grateful for his support (in spite of my many emails and calls to him with loads of probably impertinent questions and difficulties I was having).

Certainly recommend the products. Definitely recommend PenChalet.com for all related purchases

Bottled Ink(80ml)
I purchased the Marine color ink. It is super wet flowing, and a thin watery ink. The color is great - a turquoise with a hint of green. The ink is easy to clean out of pens, though sticks to skin a bit. The 80ml bottle is pretty good, with a wide opening and decent shape for filling. The ink tends to bleed on absorbent paper.

Bottled Ink(30ml)
I love the colour of this ink, but I wouldn't call it "pumpkin" coloured. It's more of a red/orange, but a beautiful vibrant shade that like all the Diamine inks behaves very well.

Bottled Ink(80ml)
New to brown ink, I recently tried Diamine Rustic Brown. The ink provides a deep, rich brown color with a hint of red and orange. Some reviews noted that the color is very dark; in my opinion, it is dark, but in a rich way, where the brown is anything but flat. The ink flows very evenly and dries quickly, an advantage for left-hand writers like myself. I used the ink with a Nemonsine Fission with a fine nib.

150th Anniversary
This is in reference to the Terracotta color. I love this color. It really does remind me of Terracotta, and I like that it's not just a bright orange. One of my favorite shades. Pretty bottle, great ink.

I purchased the Graphite, and it's the grey that started me on my love affair with greys. Really great color, with a *slight* green undertone. Love Diamine ink - good writer, not dry. Great customer service by Pen Chalet.

Bottled Ink(80ml)
This Syrah ink is a very nice purply marroon color with excellent, velvety flow and superior shading (as I often find with Diamine inks). I have it in two pens right now and both the F and the stub nib give interesting shading on Rhodia and Clairfontaine papers, and a very color-saturated line on cheaper papers but without feathering.

The slow dry time causes some smears here and there, especially on the Clairefontaine paper I use. But the shading and the deep rich color are great.

This has become my favorite of the blue inks. It really atds out well and has a beautiful color. I write by kerosene lamp light a lot and this takes on the most awesome appearance in the dim, flickering light.

This is a beautiful ink and writes really well. I truly enjoy it. I do not care for the tiny opening for the top. It is difficult to get pen in to fill. It might be a good idea to have a spare bottle, cleaned and washed just for storing this ink in this size. It really works wonderfully, even on cheap paper.

I inked up when it arrived. I like the color--blue/black. This was the most prevalent color when I was young so it brought back a melancholic feeling as it flowed from the nib. Nice ink. Nice value.
