The Platinum Preppy Wa "The 2nd" Limited Edition fountain pens are an exciting addition to the Platinum lineup. This new pen collection includes six amazing designs inspired by elements of traditional Japanese culture:

Yagasuri (black and yellow) - The yellow pattern resembles bird feathers attached to the tips of arrows used for archery, which are also associated with “hamaya,” or “arrows to ward off evil,” known as a lucky charm that wards off misfortune and brings happiness.

Sakura Tatewaku (pink and white) - This geometric pattern made of two vertical wavy lines, represents an elevation of spirit and good fortune.

Urokomon (yellow and silver) - The pattern is composed of isosceles triangles, which represent the scales of dragons and snakes that are considered to be sacred creatures. It is also said to dispel demons that dwell in women and so the pattern has been widely used on kimonos, obi belts, and other accessories for kimono attire.

Ichimatsu (green and black) - The checkered pattern is named after Sanogawa Ichimatsu, a celebrated kabuki actor who wore striking costumes with this pattern. The square pattern is arranged alternately to represent the prosperity of descendants and the expansion of business.

Seigaiha (light blue and silver) - The waves of water are known as a symbol representing good luck. The name comes from the pattern used in the costume for "Seigaiha" (waves of the blue ocean)” program of bugaku, which is a Japanese classic court dance.

Hanabishi Kikko (dark blue and silver) - This pattern involves a hexagonal shape, representing longevity, and the chestnut flower, which has been used as a family crest of the Japanese aristocratic class in ancient times exuding a noble and elegant image.
