The Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen Nibs comes with the complete unit: 18k gold nib, feed and CON-40 twist piston converter. Choose your nib size as well as the color, black-ionized or rhodium plated. The nib unit is very easy to change and fits all current models of the Pilot/Namiki Vanishing Point and Decimo pens. Simply pull and replace the entire carriage unit.

I bought an extra nib not because of any problems with my original nib, but so I could try out different nib sizes without having to buy a whole new VP pen! I'm glad they have these available.
The Vanishing Point pen is quite nice on its own. The only thing I don't LOVE is the C40 converter. But that's a different issue! (It's not big enough, dries out too quickly. YMMV.)
