These are untipped, but because they're steel they don't seem to have any issues with wear so far. It's like an EF version of the regular Noodler's flex nibs -- the feedback is similar to other EF nibs, not scratchy like I was expecting from an untipped nib.

This untipped, fine italic nib is one of Noodler's best. I've used in Noodler's as well as other #6 size pens with good results. It has some flex and it's quite agile, unlike their stiff "flex" nibs that come on the Ahab et al. I find it's expressive without needing a lot of pressure. Not a wet noodle by any stretch of the imagination, but a bouncy, responsive writer with interesting line variation. An excellent value.
I'm giving a 3 for Style just because it's about as basic as a nib can be. But that's not a bad thing.
