I originally purchased this mini-converter for a Conklin Minigraph that I was planning on acquiring as these are converters are the only ones that fit. I had a Marlen Lucky Pen that could only fit cartridges due to its tapered barrel, which severely limited ink options. This converter worked perfectly in that pen and opened up a world of ink choices.
The converter itself is very simple: It's a plunger, not screw compressed, and is incredibly easy to fill.
If you have a pen that uses small international converters only, this is your ticket to using a whole new world of inks.

I have these Monteverde Mini ink converters in two Conklin Minigraphs. I keep a journal and don't need much ink for each daily writing so when I use a Minigraph for an entry, this converter works just fine. The piston fits the pen by pushing it down enough to be able to screw the barrel back on. When I want to use more ink then a cartridge is inserted. When I need just a little ink then the Mini converters do the trick just fine.
I also use a Mini converter in another pen with the piston extended for a complete ink fill that I cannot fit a regular converter into.

I bought the mini-converter to go into a Kaweco Sport (you know, those ridiculously tiny pocket pens). It's not an EXACT fit, but that's not a problem if your pocket pen never leaves the desk. If you use it as a pocket pen though, you might find the converter has rattled loose inside the pen. You'll know when the ink suddenly stops, even though you JUST filled it up. You'll KNOW when you open the pen up and it's full of ink. The price cannot be beat, but if you're planning on taking your Kaweco Sport out and about, I'd urge you to get the branded converter for a secure fit.

FAQs about the Monteverde Mini Ink
Q:
Will it fit a montverde MVP?A:
Yes it will.Q:
Would this fit the Monteverde Poquito pen? It uses really small cartridges and I have been looking for a converter for it so that I can use my own ink.A:
Yes it will fit but you may not be able to use a full draw. You would have to fill with water then put the pen together. It will push water out as the converter compresses. Remove and mark a line where the converter is at and then when you fill with ink you know the max you can pull back the converter.
