There is no flex to this Monza "Flex" pen, and the ink doesn't flow after using it once.

So, while this pen is a good and smooth writer, it is not as flexible as it should be...In essence I am just using as a regular writer. But, I love the color and style, inked with Monteverde Green of course!

If you came here for the flex, You are in the wrong place! steel nibs don't flex much!

Color beautiful and matches Diamine Kelly Green ink well. Flex nib a bit of a disappointment. Not much flex in the nib and feels rather stiff for a flex. Build quality average.

I'm very much enjoying my Jolly Green. It's fun, simple to fill and use, and a smooth writer. I find myself carrying it every day. Seeing and using it makes me happy. Also, it's well behaved - no leaks.

I have several of the Monza flex pens and love them, but all of them with the exception of one that I have seems to experience fussy hard starts with shimmer inks. I love the green barrel on this one - works best and is more dependable with regular inks.

I got these for one for a friend and one for me. I am still learning to use the flex nib so I can not give a useful comment on that yet. The coloring of both the green and amber are pleasing and they are good to write with.
