Waterman ink has always been my favorite. Writes smoothly and doesn't clog even when a pen hasn't been used for a few days. Although bottled ink is less expensive, I always like to take cartridges with me when I travel to avoid the potential for spills.

Is there any dimensional differences between the Waterman Long and any other international long cartridges. Will other Brands of international longs fit Waterman pens designed to use the Waterman long cartridge like the Hemisphere and the Waterman Expert? I really like the Waterman serinity Blue Ink, as it works great in all my fountain pens.A:
The difference between the Waterman International cartridges and the Waterman long cartridges is just the length. Both have the same receptacle which is a standard universal. The Waterman long cartridge will hold more ink but will not fill shorter barrel pens.
