April 2025 Release: Firefly Ink
Reflecting the hazy, dreamy colors of dusk with a touch of golden shimmer to mimic the gentle flicker of fireflies, Firefly ink is a lightly saturated dusky blue/grey/purple that transforms as it dries to reveal subtle hints of blue and pink just like the evening sky as night falls. The gold shimmer adds the fireflies to the twilight sky and a warm, fleeting light to your writing or artwork.
Operating in Hobart, Tasmania, Van Dieman's inks are the creation of a husband and wife team, Peter and Belinda. The two design, make, bottle, and label each of their inks by hand and only release fountain pen inks of the highest quality. The family-owned formulation is rooted in chemistry with ink formulations that are perfected over time and use at least 90% Australian Ingredients, including Pure Tasmanian Mountain Spring Water.
