This review is for 024, yet I’ve found all of the studio inks to be compatible with nearly all of my pens. I like the minimal branding, too. Many of my pens just don’t have good ink flow. I think they are fine for most people but I like a pen to write wet consistently. I used this ink in a fine Jowo and even with the fine line the subtle color (beyond “dark”) is visible. A green black for the most part.

Sailor 280 is a light green with some yellow at first but as it dries on (Tomoe River) it shows a golden color with a green halo. I don't know how to describe it but as a Sailor color shifting ink, it's one of the best.
