About the Noodlers Bottled(16oz)
Noodlers inks are a great low-cost ink made in America created in the philosophy of a quality product for a fair price. The Noodlers Bottled Fountain Pen Ink comes in a large 16 oz glass bottle for those that love Noodlers inks.
Special Properties (listed alongside color):
Bulletproof inks are water-resistant (on cellulose-based papers). They also resist all known forgery tools (including UV light, bleach, alcohol, and other solvents). Bulletproof inks may still be vulnerable to smearing when exposed to water.
Eternal (E) inks are designed to resist the effects of time. Often referred to as archival ink, eternal inks are fade-resistant and unaffected by humid or acidic conditions.
Freeze Resistant (FZ R) inks are formulated to resist freezing at extremely low temperatures. Normal inks can burst a pen or ink bottle when exposed to very low temperatures because water expands when it freezes. Noodler's freeze resistant inks may form some harmless ice slush at very low temps, but it does not expand.
Lubricated (L) inks are specially formulated to lubricate the pistons of a fountain pen's piston-filling system or converter for a smoother operation.
Fluorescent (FLRS) inks glow under some UV lights.
Forgery Resistant (FG R) inks are resistant to lasers, alcohols, and solvents often used by forgers or check-washers.
Water Resistant (WR) inks resist smearing or fading when exposed to water, but they aren't necessarily waterproof and may still be slightly affected.
X-Feather (or "anti-feather") inks are more viscous than typical inks and feather less; particularly on highly absorbent paper.

I got the Apache Sunset and 54th Massachusetts, the only ones in stock I didn't have yet. Great ink, love the eternals/bulletproofs and the standard inks are pretty nice too. Great customer service, as well, when I had a question.

Bought two bottles, Baystate Blue and Black Swan in Australian Roses. 16 oz bottles were very carefully packed and survived the journey without incident.

This is a seriously huge bottle of ink and it is definitely not for the novice. The color, though, should be on everybody's palette. A gorgeous light burgundy that shades and lights up the page without being too bright. Being a Noodler's ink, expect saturation and color. About the size? As a limited edition, these things have a following all on their own and for the ink addict, these are quite the rush. Would have gotten some others but I already have enough black ink to float a bowling ball. A must buy for the collector.
