This ink looks quite different depending on the paper used. On creamier papers the copper color shines, on whiter papers it seems a tad flatter. But attractive, and flows well with my pens.

Very nice color selection, I ordered it because it was BOGO on National Fountain Pen Day. I have used Conklin ink in the past and these inks seem to bleed a bit more, however on the right paper I have no problems.

The Monteverde gemstone theme inks are in the top two of my favorite lines of ink. They all perform very consistently, with even bold colors that work for a varieties of paper. Seems a bit wetter, but I like that. I have many colors, with olivine my favorite, and imperial purple next. Dependable.

A very pretty color with a hint/tint of black. One of my favorites to have around. No issues with feathering or bleeding with my Clairefontaine or Nebula by Tomoe River. It does absorb fast and on my Crane stationery the ink does seep into the paper to give a deeper purple color.

This ink writes smoothly, is not a wet ink and dried on my Nebula Tomoe River 52g paper instantly. The color is a very nice bronzish brown, but not gold or too orangey. It looks beautiful on cream paper, although I have not tried it on white paper yet. A very great ink color.

I was surprised at how much I loved this ink. I’m not usually into brown, but this ink shades so beautifully (from a dark cocoa to a light sepia) that I dedicated a flex pen to it. Very expressive.
