The blue of this ink is a true medium blue and lovely on an ecru color paper. It does not clog my pens including my EF nibs. I would order these again.

If you find you are out of ink on a regular basis, consider getting this 18 pack of ink cartridges. Each cartridge will not last longer than what you maybe using now, but there are more than what is in the usual five or six package of ink cartridges. This means you will have more time between panic situations where you must go out and buy more ink.

I'm using this ink with a J Herbin Transparent Fountain Pen, also purchased from Pen Chalet. Whether the fault of the male part of the pen or the quality of the plastic from which the ink cartridge is made, the fact is that the ink leaks from the cartridge into the forward assembly of the pen containing the nib. I've tried to use three different cartridges from the box of 18 with the same result.

I got this primarily to go into my Classic Sport in Bordeaux. Ink flow is very nice. I love being able to use colors other than black or blue without the color being too "out there." I know it's sometimes hard to beat Amazon prices on things, but this same item goes for much more on Amazon (from what I've seen) so I'm so happy to be able to get it here!
