Bought this on a lark. I have a new Sailor and wanted a new blue. I have been very pleased with the ink. The Sailor writes on the wet side (music nib, ground to a cursive italic by the inestimable John Mottishaw) and the result is a lush line that nevertheless is clean enough to see well defined thicks and thins. I would normally use Iroshizuku Asa Gao, but it is a little on the blobby side with this particular pen. Blue Velvet is swell. I bet David Lynch would like it... even though it doesn't bleed :-)

Love green inks..This one can seem more teal than some samples I've seen...Using in a variety of pens and nibs.

I have several of the 150th Anniversary inks. Each of them are quite wet, and highly saturated in color. Definitely not for cheap paper uses. Even in an EF nib, this ink feathered and bled through the copy paper I got as a handout in a class. The Tropical Green seems to be a little calmer than the blue inks I have, but not much more. I'm interested in trying some of the paler colors in the line now, namely Silver Fox, Golden Honey and Safari, since inks of pale colors get a significant boost in readability if they have enough color saturation. My only concern is how wet they'll be to get there.

The shape of the bottle is rather bizarre in having a wedge shape, so that it can form a "pie" with other 150th inks in the lineup. Given that it has half the amount of ink that the 80ml Diamine does, but costs more, the value will depend on how well one values the saturation of color and the wetter performance. The other Diamine inks I have don't seem to be so hard on paper below Rhodia-quality.

Still, the color is the thing here. If you love the deep true indigo color of Regency Blue or the eye-searing almost Baystate Blue of Blue Velvet, then this ink is definitely for you, and well worth the price point.

I got the Dark Forest and Burgundy Royale. First off, very well behaved inks. No learning curve. They worked perfectly in a EF all the way to a Broad. Both have a slight sheen which is nice for visual interest. Also both inks I got have a color shift that at times is very faint and others will catch your eye. :) This I have heard makes reading my letters very enjoyable for the receiving party. I will say that if you are looking for a deep rich red, maybe take a look at their other inks. It is a very good representation of Burgundy. Dark Forest, a green so dark that it looks black, until it's green. Yes, I like both.

This is in reference to the Terracotta color. I love this color. It really does remind me of Terracotta, and I like that it's not just a bright orange. One of my favorite shades. Pretty bottle, great ink.
