Colorverse Pen Chalet Limited Edition(65ml + 15ml) Reviews
Both of the inks in this set are in my EDC pens. They go well with one another so I alternate paragraphs in my journal with them. Monsoon is in a Monteverde Nebula and Methuselah is in my Pilot E95s. I have several sets of Colorverse Ink to get to, but these are the ones that will be empty first. The price is pretty incredible compared to some other Colorverse inks, but don’t let that fool you. This set is awesome!

This is a great set! The teal of the big bottle is a deep shade that can be used in a lot of different settings and the monument valley orange is up there with some of my favorite orange inks! As always, Colorverse inks are packaged really well and the bottles are just so cool looking!

My first purchase of Colorverse inks. I had tried a few samples but couldn’t get over the price, relative to the market that offers so many quality choices at a more affordable point. Pen Chalet was offering their exclusive/limited colors at a nice discount, so I finally pulled the trigger.
The Monsoon Storm is a bit too dark for my taste. Even though I had never tried diluting an ink before, I had purchased some dilution liquid recently, and decided this would be a great opportunity, and clearly did not want to waste the ink. I put 2 mL in a sample vial and added 3 drops to start. That was enough for me, and now it is inked in a Nemosine Singularity, with a .08 stub nib. I’m sure the broader nib helps as well, and a fine might require more dilution go get the slightly lighter hue of green to come out.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I cannot recall the name of the 15 mL ink in the set. I’d say it’s on the lighter side of Amber with a fine nib. I enjoy this color straight out of the bottle, if anything I’ll be interested in inking it with a nib that flows a bit heavier in order to get a darker shade. Of the 2 this is the color that will offer a wider range of versatility in shading.

LOVE this ink combination.
The Monsoon Storm is an absolute dream to write with... In an extra-fine nib, the turquoise qualities really shine, but in a wetter nib, it really appears almost black-green. Depending on the paper, the green hues will show more. Really just a wonderful in that is just right to be professional while still having all the joys of a great fountain pen ink.
The 15ml of Monument Valley is simply not enough. I'm afraid to use it because it'll disappear so soon. A beautiful orange/brown, it flows well, if a bit dry. Paired with Monsoon Storm, they're wondeful inks that I will use sparingly if only because I'm afraid of running out!

If you love dark greens/teals - this is a tremendous choice. The companion, small bottle of ink is a gorgeous rich burnt orange with red tones. Very, very highly recommended.
