About Red Lamy Tipo
The Lamy Tipo rollerball pen is a capless rollerball pen that enables smooth precise penmanship. The pen has an integrated clip-push mechanism making it quick and ready to write. Simply press the clip to extend the rollerball ink refill tip and the clip retracts into a slot in the pen shaft. Press the top of the clip to retract the rollerball refill and return the clip to its normal position, available for use in your pocket. The innovative design reduces the risk of stain from inserting the pen prematurely into your pocket with out the rollerball refill retracted.
The Lamy Tipo rollerball pen is made from bright sturdy plastic or aluminum barrel with a plastic grip and is available in several colors.
The Lamy Tipo comes with one Lamy M66 refill in black in the pen.
Note: The box on the Lamy Tipo has changed from the plastic box pictured in the video to a basic cardboard box.

Each Lamy Tipo Rollerball Pens we sell is guaranteed to be genuine, authentic and will arrive brand new & unused!
This is the Lamy Tipo Rollerball Pen. It comes in a black plastic box with a really unique shape to it, somewhat between a rectangular, triangular, pyramid shape. It has the Lamy logo here at the bottom, embossed into the box on both sides. This box is pretty cool because you open it from this side, fold it down, and it becomes a stand for your pen. Included with the pen is the warranty instructions, or warranty policy for that Lamy Tipo Rollerball Pen.
This is the orange flame version of the pen. It has an orange barrel with black accents. It has a black plastic grip section. It has some grooves on this grip section to make it easier to hold. It also has a small hole here, I'll explain in just a second what that is for, and it has a black clip. That clip extends past the top of the pen and makes it easier to raise and get into your pocket. The pen has two small holes at the top of the pen.
The other unique thing about this clip is it's designed to extend the refill on the pen, and to extend the refill, you simply press that clip down. Once you get to where that hole is, that small ball at the end of the clip falls into the hole and extends the refill. The nice thing about that is, you can't put that clip back into your pocket without retracting the refill. It allows you to make sure that you don't have that refill out when you put the pen in your pocket and get ink on your shirt. So, the Lamy Tipo, great product, unique product. "GOOD OLD PEN CHALET" ! I've purchased a number of quality pens from P.C. I JUST DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE OR ANY CONCERNS FOR ANY OF MY PURCHASES.

Got this as a gift for my husband, who has always inexpensive pens from an office store and was hating that he had to throw them away, rather than just refill. He says he's been using it, enjoying it, loves how it writes and even more that he can use the refills instead of tossing a whole pen in a landfill.

Great little rollerball. I have two and several Retro 51 rollerballs I've used for years, so those are my reference point. The Lamy writes well, is small and compact and no negatives other than the price of the refills, which considering the cost of the Tipo itself, seems too high. I use them daily because they're quick to click and write.

Good value pen. Works well. The click mechanism is a great stress reliever. What more can you ask at this price?

The nice thing about this pen is it is not expensive but the Lamy refill makes the writing flawless.

This pen works just fine, but I really could take it or leave it. I mainly got it so that my order would equal $50 for free shipping. I find the mechanism to extract the pen doesn't catch sometimes. I do like the look of the pen--very chic.

This is the second Tipo pen I have purchased. The first one was awesome and still using it daily. The second one, this white aluminum did not work right out of the box. The clicker to push pen out was stuck and the ink was dried up in the cartridge. Worked on it for about 20 minutes before giving up and putting the pen in a drawer to deal with later. Disappointed, as have several LAMY pens that are awesome, and this is first negative experience with one of their pens.

Feels good in the hand and I love the smooth bold line of the rollerball. Not for cheap paper though. It will bleed through.
