About the Karas Kustoms Render K
The Karas Kustoms Render K rollerball pen is a compact, durable pen machined from aluminum, brass, or copper. Each aluminum piece is anodized while the brass and copper color are raw and will color with use for a distinct look.
The triple-threaded cap is precision machined and can be removed easily in 1 1/2 turns. The sturdy stainless steel clip is attached with 2 machine screws.
Each Karas Kustoms Render K rollerball pen comes with a Parker style rollerball refill. If you prefer a fountain pen or a G2 rollerball refill the sections are interchangeable to accept these writing tips as well.

This pen is either all-aluminum and there's also brass and copper options for the pen. It's going to be anodized on the aluminum in various colors. This happens to be the red. It has a metal clip that's attached with two small machine bolts at the top of the clip. It has a little gnarled section at the very top of the cap, just a plain end to the top of the cap and end of the barrel.
The cap is threaded and can be posted on the end of the pen, although it doesn't really post really well. It kind of just sits on there. It doesn't seem like it's real secure.
You can see the threads there where the cap is and then the section on the front end of the pen. You can change the section. That happens to be the silver color of the aluminum. You can also get the black anodized aluminum, there is a tumbled aluminum, or you can get the brass and copper grips which gives it a little more weight towards the front of the pen.
That section unscrews to change the refill. It just comes with a standard universal rollerball refill. Great design, great pen. It's all made in the United States. Might not be the most comfortable rollerball I own, but it's certainly good enough for a long writing session. If you are worried that the grip is too slick for you, don't be, because it's actually machined with fine ridges all the way down to the tip. What I like most about the pen is how ruggedly sturdy it feels. No moving parts, no slip on cap what will loosen over time. I don't think it will break on me...ever...unless I run it over with my car. Solid aluminum pen.
