And, of course, there is the Taccia Spotlight fountain pen. This pen comes with a demonstrator body. This happens to be the blue color and it allows you to see the inside of the pen with silver trim. The bottom of the cap is a pretty good sized band with the Taccia logo printed. The cap has a ring at the top which attaches the clip, no engravings on the clip just a basic curved shaped design. The pen has a cigar type shape or torpedo shape which is rounded and on both the cap and the bottom of the barrel of the pen.
The cap is threaded, it will unscrew and easily posts on the pen with a matching section with the resin so you can see the ink flow through the section of the pen. And it comes with a Japanese nib, which is actually made by Sailor. So, it has a good quality nib on the pen. It is a cartridge converter pen so the front section will unscrew from the barrel of the pen. And, an ink converter is included with it. This particular pen will take the Sailor ink cartridges which is a proprietary cartridge. But, just a good Japanese pen and it has some great colors. Taccia Spotlight Video Script
This is the Taccia Spotlight fountain pen. The pen comes in a cardboard sleeve, which opens and slides off. There is a gift box for the pen with the Taccia logo once again printed on the top of the box lid. The hinge style lid it opens and there is a Taccia logo once again on the underside of the box lid. There is a false bottom on the box. Included with the pen is information about the Taccia Spotlight, as well as a couple of ink cartridges and information about Taccia as well.And, of course, there is the Taccia Spotlight fountain pen. I purchased the Forest Eye with a medium nib, and I couldn't be happier with the pen. The resin looks great and the ink level in the converter is easily seen through the semi-transparent barrel. The nib is a Japanese medium, which writes like a European fine. It is a wet writer with pencil-on-paper feedback. Not unpleasant, but typical for the Sailor nibs this pen uses. I have the Taccia Spectrum, and this pen is a bit larger and a step up in fit and finish.

Taccia nibs are made by Sailor, and have a bit of the famous Sailor feedback - but I have this pen with a bold, wet music nib, and it's one of my favorites. Taccia's nibs are tuned better, in my opinion, and offer an amazing writing experience.This pen is well-made, feels great in the hand, performs reliably, and is all-around an excellent value. Recommended!

The Taccia Spectrum is a very good value. The two toned stainless nib (by Sailor) is smooth and has very little feedback. I would say there is very little difference between this pen an my Sailor 1911 standard medium nib. The fit and finish are excellent. The barrel has a more contoured shape than the Sailor or the Taccia Spectrum and is very comfortable to write with. I got the Forest Eye color and I like it better than expected. I highly recommend this pen for a quality writer without breaking the bank.

There are fewer colored streaks than I would have expected--this pen is much more clear. It's nicely finished, and the color Sailor converter looks nice inside it.
