Customer Reviews

The Perfect Pen-
I am gaining a great appreciation for Taccia nibs, beyond their beauty the feel and finish is very extremely pleasing to write with. The nib sparkles like a jewel.
I bought a Fine. It’s writes with smooth precision, ink of all sorts flows well., with a slight bit of beautful “fresh sharpened pencil” sensation (Zero scratch).
I appreciate being able to use sailor cartridges. I love the peacock blue and Yolonga. For work or travel a three pack of cartridges and my Taccia work flawlessly.
I have used this pen constantly for two months to write teeny tiny notes, and numbers.
I can’t imagine a time when I won’t want it inked.
The cap shelters the pen in its sheath Like a sword.
I love the security of this “pen in sheath” after my last experience.
Taccia on top of being secure has the most uniquely gorgeous resin.
You won’t say..” I’ve see this before” somewhere”.
The resin is complexly exquisite, thick and dense without being over weighted. The pen has perfect balance.
The grip section is comfortable and does not make my fingers go numb, on long writing sessions.
I’m infatuated.

Most "Vivid" and saturated Pink that I have been able to find. It's not as subdued as Diamine Flaming Pink and more of a true pink than Diamine Hope Pink.
One of my top 10 inks, for sure.

Sabimidori is one of my favorite inks ever! Beautiful rusty sheen and a deep dusky color that’s either blue or green depending on the paper. It also is much more smear resistant than a lot of sheening inks.

Excellent product: beautiful and ecological. This is the second that I buy. However, express delivery takes a few weeks! I was in no rush to receive the product.

It fits my Namiki Emperor. That should be enough endorsement but I will add that it’s made of luxurious materials, the inside is soft and velvety to pamper your precious pens. Highly recommend for big pens you want to sleep in protective luxury whilst not on use.

Once I received the pen, I pulled the feed and nib out and washed them, to get any production residue off.
I got the Extra-Fine since that nib fits my motor skills in writing.
I filled the ink cartridge with Iroshizuku yama budo, the pen started with no hiccups. Even writing with the pen perpendicular to the paper ( I always write like this - fountain pens at a 90°angle ) I had no issues with the pens performance. I wrote with the pen unposted: the pen itself is a long pen but with a comfortable weight. I posted (screw on type) just to see how it felt...for me it became unwieldy and I wear Medium size gloves (as a reference).
The pen stands out just by it's long cap and the Persimmon Winds adds to its allure (lighter than the one shown, but an attractive reddish chestnut with black swirls).
It takes about 2.5-3 twists to uncap. To recap it needs a slight push in to get the threads connected, no major issue, just an observation.
Taccia makes a great product (this is my 3rd Taccia: Pinnacle and Spectre are my other 2) and this Covenant did not disappoint. I like the weight of their pens and the Sailor steel nibs cannot be beat.
Pen Chalet customer service was of great help setting me up and getting the pen out to me. True professionalism. I enjoyed our conversation too. Great people to do business with.

These are very nice, love the Japanese Kimono style! Very cool in my opinion, and very fitting for my Japanese Pilot/Namiki/Platinum fountain pens. I like em better than the leather fountain pen holders. They both protect the pens somewhat, keep the dust off them, and that’s about all I’d ask from them. They are not hard shell case holders, so they wouldn’t do much protecting if some hard hits them or the fall from a height, but for keeping them from getting dusty, perfect ??

Got the Faded Jeans in this collection and I just love it. It has a very light, translucent quality that I covet in inks. This one is a slightly warm blue with a hint of gray, though quite sheer. If you're looking for a light, sheer, shading ink in a unique color, this one may be up your alley. I personally love this one, swab shows the color pretty well online. No feathering, ghosting or bleeding through on good quality papers.

Well worth the wait of a special order for this ink. Lovely sheen and color; a gorgeous rusty green.

I purchased the Forest Eye with a medium nib, and I couldn't be happier with the pen. The resin looks great and the ink level in the converter is easily seen through the semi-transparent barrel. The nib is a Japanese medium, which writes like a European fine. It is a wet writer with pencil-on-paper feedback. Not unpleasant, but typical for the Sailor nibs this pen uses. I have the Taccia Spectrum, and this pen is a bit larger and a step up in fit and finish.

Taccia nibs are made by Sailor, and have a bit of the famous Sailor feedback - but I have this pen with a bold, wet music nib, and it's one of my favorites. Taccia's nibs are tuned better, in my opinion, and offer an amazing writing experience. This pen is well-made, feels great in the hand, performs reliably, and is all-around an excellent value. Recommended!

The Taccia Spectrum is a very good value. The two toned stainless nib (by Sailor) is smooth and has very little feedback. I would say there is very little difference between this pen an my Sailor 1911 standard medium nib. The fit and finish are excellent. The barrel has a more contoured shape than the Sailor or the Taccia Spectrum and is very comfortable to write with. I got the Forest Eye color and I like it better than expected. I highly recommend this pen for a quality writer without breaking the bank.

There are fewer colored streaks than I would have expected--this pen is much more clear. It's nicely finished, and the color Sailor converter looks nice inside it.
