The red-orange hue and gold trim of the pen pay homage to, what many believe to be the most important element, Fire. Fire is a delicate balance between its abilities to warm and give light and its abilities to burn and destroy. This delicate balance is also apparent within the pen, available in slim and standard, and King of Pen versions.

Sailor Pro Gear Fire Video Script

This is the Sailor Professional Gear Fire Fountain Pen. It comes in a white cardboard sleeve with the Sailor logo on the front. This sleeve slides off. Inside is a blue leatherette box with the Sailor logo embossed in gold. It has a hinge style lid, which lifts open. The interior of the box is a gray fabric satin on the underside of the box lid with the Sailor logo engraved. And of course, we have the Sailor Professional Gear Fire Fountain pen.

Included with the pen is the information instructions for the pen. There is a couple ink cartridges. Sailor pens will use a proprietary cartridge, so you have to use their cartridges, or it also comes with an ink converter as well. So if you want to use bottled inks, the converter allows you to use other types of inks. The pen also comes with a certificate of authenticity with a hologram here to assure you that it's authentic and comes with a full warranty.

The Sailor Pro Gear Fire is an orange-red color and is part of the element series. On the top of the cap is the Sailor anchor logo. It has a black background with the Sailor gold anchor logo. It has a gold ring at the top of the pen that attaches the gold clip. At the center band or at the bottom of the cap, there is a thick band engraved with Sailor Japan founded 1911. Once again, there is another gold ring at the bottom of the pen.

The cap is threaded and unscrews, you can post the the cap on the pen as well. This is the standard size Pro Gear, and it is a decent size pen. It is also available in the smaller Slim or larger King of Pen, which is quite large. The Slim is the smallest version of the pen. Each version has a gold nib. It is engraved with the Sailor logo and a black feed on the back of the nib. This is a cartridge converter pen, so the front section will unscrew from the pen. This is where you would insert your ink cartridges or the converter if you're using the converter for the bottled inks.
