2023 Release: The second release in the Sailor Pro Gear Checkmate Series is the Soul of Chess fountain pen featuring a stunning combination of a clear transparent demonstrator barrel paired with a white cap and silver trim. The 2023 release is inspired by the pawn, an essential piece without which there is no victory - you might even call it the soul of chess. The exquisite Sailor Pro Gear Checkmate Series Soul of Chess fountain pen showcases a clear transparent body paired with translucent ivory and enhanced by silver trims. The pen's ion-plated metal section is weighted to provide a tactile sensation reminiscent of an authentic chess piece. The Soul of Chess fountain pen is a North American Exclusive limited to just 500 pieces.
