L-O-V-E this fountain pen. It was literally love after first ink. Writes smoothly with the subtlest of feedback which is satisfying instead of distracting. Ink flow is excellent. Neither too wet nor too dry.
The Stormy Sea has a metallic sheen to it which makes it extremely attractive.
Pen is quite light and whatever weight it does have, it feels extremely balanced and writes with you instead of against you.
Maybe it's just me but this pen is rhodium plated and I felt that the nib is slightly stiffer than the same 24k Gold on the Sailor 1911L Black and Gold. The stiffness is only very slight and still produces the same lines as the standard.
I would definitely recommend this pen to anyone interested in a gold nib fountain pen looking for not so thick lines.
