About the Retro 51 Invader
The Retro51 Invader Fountain Pen is now landing exclusively at Pen Chalet! Originally sold as a Tornado Popper rollerball pen, but it's now available as a fountain pen limited to only 300 pieces. The black acrylic barrels are printed with classic 8-bit video game characters complete with polished chrome accents, top disc print and serial number engraved on the top ring. Each FP is fitted with the updated contour grip section and the "51" branded nib of your choice in four sizes: EF, F, M and 1.1 mm. They are loaded with two standard international cartridges plus a converter within the traditional Retro51 tube. If life is bombarding you with tasks then start zapping them with this fun fountain pen. Just don't zap your family or coworkers!

If you are a lover of Retro 51's, fountain pens, and Space Invaders, then this IS the pen for you! Of course, the pen writes smoothly and fits my hand perfectly. What is extra special are the memories the little images on this pen bring to me from playing this game for hours upon hours years ago. Nostalgia at its best!

This Cool Duder takes me back to the silly arcade game that it looks like....The Graphics are a Hoot - In game animations all around the pen on both the body and the cap are a visual treat. I have other Retro Fountain Pens and they are made of metal or other heavyish materials but this one is made of resin that makes it a lot lighter than the others. The 1.1mm #6 Nib makes beautiful lines and the pen comes with a converter and an ink cart to get you started.

I've always enjoyed Retro 51's commitment to homages, and this one is no different. It certainly brings back memories of arcades and time spent. The design almost screams out the sound effects while writing.
